Hungarian State Real School. The building of the State Real School was built according to the designs of the Budapest architects Emil Somló and Ambrus Orth, completed in 1913. The building is an example of Hungarian (Hungarian) Art Nouveau. It is mainly manifested in the decorative elements on the façade and on the column capitals, which are influenced by folklore traditions. The author of the reliefs with the allegory of education on the entrance portal is the sculptor Géza Maróti. In the interior, several smaller areas with original paving and cast terrazzo have been preserved, and most of the window panes are original. The original elements include the geometric stucco decoration and plant motifs already illustrated, the stone elements of the staircase railing and the metal grilles. In the entrance foyer there is a small stone fountain with seating, typical of public buildings of the time. The building retains its original mansard roof truss.
