In the Veľká Fatra Mountains, about two kilometres above the village of Blatnica, there is an easily accessible ruin. Blatnica Castle was built in the second half of the 13th century. Access to it is from the Gaderská valley along the yellow hiking trail. The trail is suitable for a family walk even with small children.
