Listen to the guide

Rudolf Geschwind was the forester of Krupina and one of the greatest rose breeders in the world. He bred more than 700 varieties of roses, including the world-famous rose known since 1897 as Gruss an Teplitz. During the millennium it was inducted into the World Rose Hall of Fame. The Geschwind roses returned to the town in 2000 and 2002, when the Geschwind Garden in Krupina was created.
