In the former factory for the production of copper products, called Medený Hámor, you will find two remarkable attractions. There is the second stop of the longest cross road in Slovakia. Interestingly, this stop was demolished during the construction of the road in 1983 and only 31 years later it was restored to its original state. In June 2014 it was consecrated. There is also a memorial stone to the Austro-Hungarian Empress Elisabeth of Bavaria, known as Sissi. Few people know that mourning lime trees were planted throughout Hungary on the occasion of her death in 1898. A dendrological analysis and a contemporary photograph confirmed the remains of this planting also in front of the grounds of the Copper House! After the revitalisation of the park and the trees, a memorial stone was erected here to Empress Sissi.
