Bench above the Waltz. On the slope at the upper end of the village, above a small sandstone quarry, there is a bench. It can be reached by walking past the quarry and then up the narrow path up the slope. From the bench there is a nice view of the Valča part of the village and of Veľká Fatra, which rises in the distance on the left side. On the right side you can see the foothills of Mala Fatra and the access to the Valčianska valley. The latter is famous for the Snowland sports and recreation centre.
The resort is primarily focused on family skiing with a high level of additional services. However, apart from the winter season, visitors, adults and children, will also enjoy the summer. There are many attractions and sports facilities, including a golf tee. Of course, the surroundings are also ideal for nature enthusiasts and hikers. There are several ponds, hiking trails and a blue-marked trail to the Majbíková saddle passes through the whole valley. From there it continues to Kunerad. There is also a network of cycle paths. There is a charging station for electric bikes in the resort.
