Mestský dom

Listen to the guide

A beautiful building in the centre of Krupina is the town house, which was completed in 1901 on the site of the medieval town hall. Before the town hall, the social and economic life of the town took place. For more than 500 years, the famous fairs were held on the square in front of the town hall. Executions were also carried out here. Until the 19th century there was also a cage of shame near the town hall. Nowadays, the building houses the town hall.
