J. G. Tajovský Memorial House

Another of the listed houses worth a visit is this listed building. The somewhat unassuming single-storey house hides a rich literary history. Hana Gregorová, Slovak writer, journalist and author of collections of novels and novels with women's issues, was born here. Her husband, the novelist and leading figure of the second wave of Slovak realism - Jozef Gregor Tajovský - also lived here. In addition to poetry, Jozef Gregor Tajovský also wrote portraits of prominent figures in Martin - and when you visit, you will discover the place where some of them were created.
