E.M. Šoltés Memorial Villa, Jesenski Villa

Take a peek into the workplace of a prominent Slovak writer, editor and columnist. Elena Maróthy-Šoltésová was active in Martin practically all her life and focused not only on her publishing but also on outreach activities. She was a member and later the chairwoman of the women's association Živena, which still exists in Martin today and helps women at various levels. The Memorial Villa, which is certainly worth a visit, is an interesting place not only because of the author's work, but also because of its architecture.
