The quarry of Devicia

The natural swimming pool is located between the villages of Devičie and Hontianske Nemce. Formerly a quarry for basalt mining, it is now flooded and is mainly used for recreational purposes. There is a gradual entrance to the quarry, as well as a jumping bridge. There are also rest areas, a volleyball court and a cafeteria. The area is spacious and surrounded by stone walls. There is also a lodge with accommodation.
