Ginkgo biloba (ginkgo biloba)

The protected ginkgo tree is located near the remains of a classical mansion from the early nineteenth century, just five metres from the corner of the family house number 63 in the village of Sudovce. It was declared a protected tree in 2000. The reason for its protection is its cultural, scientific and aesthetic value and proof of the adaptability of a rare introduced tree species. The tree has a height of 16 metres, a crown diameter of 8 metres and is approximately 260 years old. It is probably the oldest ginkgo tree in Slovakia.
