Mikuláš Galanda Gallery

Mikuláš Galanda Gallery. The birthplace of the important Slovak painter, founder of modernism, graphic artist and illustrator Mikuláš Galanda is located in a nice environment near the spa park in the middle of the garden. The premises of the house were adapted for exhibition purposes in 1987. Visitors have the opportunity to see 34 reproductions from the pink and blue period and one original, which is housed in the painter's original easel. Also on display are examples of illustrations that Galanda prepared for books by Slovak and Czech writers and poets. It was in book illustration that the artist achieved international success at the World Exhibition in Paris.
