The Martin Benko Museum is housed in the house where one of the most important Slovak artists spent the last decade of his life. The national artist Martin Benka was an important painter and illustrator. He invented his own typefaces, mastered the Esperanto language, but he also created 13 violins, which can be found in this museum. Martin Benka is considered one of the founders of book illustration. The museum faithfully depicts his study, studio and bedroom. In accordance with his last will, they are preserved in authentic form.
