Church of St. Martin

We present to you the richest monument in the city, if we are talking about interior decoration. St. Martin's Church. This church was built around 1255 and during its history it has been damaged by fire several times, even by earthquakes. Interestingly, it has changed over time from Evangelical to Catholic. It only became established in 1710 and since then it has been Catholic only. The church's furnishings date from 1974. It is a national cultural monument and contains many interesting paintings, paintings, several altars and even a medieval fresco probably from the middle of the fourteenth century.
