Andrej Kmet's Museum. One of the most beautiful buildings in the city in terms of architecture and decoration is undoubtedly the old building of the Slovak National Museum. At first glance it impresses with a paradox: it is relatively small, but it looks monumental and representative. It was built for the needs of the Slovak National Museum at the beginning of the twentieth century. It is remarkable that during its existence its exterior has not been altered and no major changes have been made to the interior. The priest and nationalist Andrej Kmet was responsible for its construction. Today the museum has a permanent exhibition dedicated to his work.
