Novohrad Museum and Gallery in Lučenec

The Novohradské Museum in Lučenec was founded in 1955 as the District Museum of Homeland in Halič. Since 1985 it has been located in Lučenec in the monumental building of the former county courthouse in the historical centre of the town. The museum manages more than 25 thousand collection items. The collection maps the work of artists active in Lučenec and its surroundings.
