The dominant feature of Plášt'ovce is the magnificent Roman Catholic parish church of St. George. It attracts especially with its 42-metre high tower. It was built in 1898 in the Art Nouveau style. Most of the furnishings are original. Near the church there is a former Roman Catholic school from 1898, today used as a municipal museum.
