Piaristický kláštor

In the Piarist monastery in 1720 a college of Piarists of the Catholic Order was established, which focused on the education of youth. Pupils from the surrounding area attended the school until its closure. Under the guidance of the professors, the students performed plays by ancient authors. The grammar school was attended not only by Catholic but also by Protestant students. Among them were also many important personalities of the region. Today, the monastery is a cultural monument and serves as a social services home.
